Coach Porter: On a personal note, I would like to thank all the fans that have made the Kansas City Brigade their team.  Our first two seasons in the Arena Football League have shown the entire country the type of enthusiastic, loyal and dedicated football fans that we have here in Kansas City. We look forward to bringing our fans a team that they can continue to be proud of.  Again, thank you for your support and we will see you at Sprint Center.

What does Quarterback D Bryant bring to this team?

D understands the offense.  He is a very poised quarterback and he has a lot of quality players around him.  He does a good job at managing the game.  He does what we ask him to do.  D has a lot of upside and we are very excited to have him on the team.

D Bryant played under offensive coordinator Ricky Foggie last year in the af2, does that help a young QB?

Coach Foggie is a big reason D was brought in.  Foggie has helped him a great deal getting adjusted to the AFL.  D is comfortable with the offense since he has been a part of this offense for over a year now.  D just needs to keep doing what he is doing and he will be fine.  D needs to keep the offense on track and deliver the ball to his receivers.

Jerel Myers is having his best year yet, does this surprise you?

Nothing that Jerel does surprises me.  He is having a great year.  He comes to practice every day and works hard.  He definitely practices like he plays.  Jerel is the most consistent person that we have in our organization. 

The Brigade are off to a slow start what needs to happen to get things turned around?

Even though we are 0-6 we are still only two games out of the playoff hunt.  We have a big game this week and we need to get a win.  We have played well enough to win these last couple weeks but we have made critical mistakes.  We need to limit the mistakes and we will be ok.  We need to get this game and move on to the next one.

With six division games left how can this team get things going in the right direction?

The guys are very anxious to get things going.  They are in a good frame of mind.  We have had three tough games in a row against some quality teams and we kept up with all of them.  We just need to find a way to make one more big play.  We need to win and then keep this thing going.
